Thoughts in Silence

As we go about our daily lives, we are often times provided with more time to think than to speak. With a variety of different expectations placed upon us by those around us, we are always wary of what we say so as to not ruin the image others have of us. As much as possible, we would like to maintain a good image so as to not be isolated.

Living life this way, our thoughts and feelings are forever bottled with nowhere to be released. They are nothing but fleeting thoughts that never see the light of day.

We may think a million different things and not speak a word.

Don’t you think it is too sad?

We spend so much time thinking and contemplating about life, our situations, and our decisions. Surely some of our thoughts could help solve other people’s problems or at least provide them with some comfort. If everyone shared their thoughts and not keep to themselves, fruitful discussions may arise leading to astounding discoveries. Thoughts may be able to go deeper and become more meaningful.

The thoughts we have in silence tend to be deep. But if there are others around to help you dig deeper, why not?

If you are too afraid to speak your thoughts, type your thoughts. It would be such a waste for the expression of one’s limitless thoughts to be restricted by fear of judgement from others.

My thoughts are always fleeting. Writing is the only way I can remember all the things that once crossed my mind.

  1. You’re smart, or I’m blind! You eliminated “Likes” so people are forced to comment? I don’t particularly see “likes” as all that helpful either; I’m sure that some people don’t even take the time to read what I’ve written.

Now that that’s out of the way! What I really wanted to say is that I enjoyed your post! My blog is focused on speaking, whether we’re sharing our thoughts verbally, or through written word, so I am on board with what you are saying here. I may share a song on this subject soon. I actually had it running through my head today.

They say that silence is golden, but I believe this suggests that there are moments when silence is better than speaking. It’s not a rule. It doesn’t work well in every case. There is too much we left unsaid! Great post.

    1. I don’t think I eliminated the likes button but if it’s not there it might be because of the website theme template I’m using?
Anyways, glad you enjoyed my post. 🙂 Been gone for quite some time so please excuse me for my reply that is months late. ^^”
I may check out your website sometime ^^
